Plantain Curry (Arati Kaya Kura)



Ingredients :-

1/4 kg Plantain(arati kaya)
1/2 inch ginger piece
4 green chilli
1 red chilli
1/4 tsp turmeric
curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp chana dal
1 tsp urad dal
salt
oil

Preparation :

1)Take a bowl ,add plantain,salt,turmeric and pressure cook it by adding some water.

2)Cut the boiled plantain into pieces and keep aside.

3)Grind ginger and green chilli to a fine paste and keep aside.

4)Heat a pan, add some oil.Once hot add red chilli,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,chana dal,urad dal and fry until they turn light brown.

5)Add curry leaves and fry for half a minute.Add boiled plantain pieces to the pan and add ginger chilli paste to it.

6)Fry for 7-10 minutes and switch off the stove and serve with hot rice.
