Vegetable Idly - A Breakfast Recipe





















Breakfast recipe.


Ingredients :

Urad dal - 1 cups
Idly Rava- 2 cups
Salt to taste
Vegetables of your choice -Grated Carrot, thin sliced french Beans, Cabbage, Potato, Capsicum
Thin sliced Onion -1
Green Chillies - 3-4 nos
Grated coconut - 2 tsp
Salt to taste


Preparation :-

Idly Batter :


1)Soak urad dal and idly rava in seperate vessels for a minimum of 4 hours. Grind the soaked urad dal to a very fine paste. Take the rava and drain it with out water and mix to the urad dal paste.Add salt and mix well using your hands. Leave the batter to night.

2)Add the chopped vegetables ,green chilli,grated coconut to the batter. Add salt and mix well. Grease the idli plates with oil (Otherwise idly get sticked to the idly plate after cooking)and add the idli batter in the idli plates.

3)Serve with chutney/curry leaf powder.
