Onion Rava Dosa



A great breakfast dish....Rava Dosa is most of the people choice in the hotel.But most of us don't prepare the recipe at home,usually order at Hotel.Follow these simple steps....Trust me...you don't prefer hotel furthur for Rava Dosa....

Ingredients :

1 cup semolina (upma rava)
1 cup rice flour (biyyappindi)
1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 green chilli
1 tsp grated ginger
salt
2 big onions chopped
oil for dosa

Preparation :-

1)Mix all the ingredients above except onions and oil.Add water to the mixture ,make sure that it should not be thick.Keep it aside for half an hour to 1 hour....Or you can just start making dosa also...But it tastes good if you keep it aside for some time.

2)In Rava Dosa recipe ,the important step is at making dosa.Check the batter once,It should have consistency almost like butter milk.

3)Heat tawa(should be non stick),Test the heat by sprinkling some water on tawa...it should sizzle.

4)Spread the chopped onions on the tawa,Then take the batter with hand just sprinkle batter all over on tawa with hand.Sprinkling with hand helps you you to get the dosa nicely.Please see the picture to better understand.

5)Once it gets brown color fold it and remove from pan.Your Rava Dosa is ready to eat....Go Ahead n Njoy....!!!!!
