Know Carrot Benefits

Here are just some of the reasons you should make sure your child gulps down at least one glass of carrot juice a day. 1. Carrots are excellent for the eyes. 2. Carrots contains large quantities of vitamin A, in the form of beta carotene. 3. Juicing a carrot removes the indigestible fiber. Thus, the nutrients in it are available to the body in much larger quantities than if the carrot was eaten whole. This is because many of the nutrients are trapped in the fibre, and while fibre aids digestion, some part of the fibre is indigestible. Thus, you don't get the benefits of the nutrients that are trapped in the indigestible fibre. 5. Carrot juice has anti-carcinogen properties. Thus, it helps prevent cancer. It is also believed to have cancer-curing properties. 6. Beta carotene is an anti-oxidant, and thus it prevents cell degeneration. Anti-oxidants also slow down the ageing process. Another fruit which is an excellent anti-oxidant is the berry. 7. Carrots are also good for the skin.

Kaakara Kaya Fry(Bitter Gourd Fry)

Ingredients : 1/4 kg bitter gourd 2 big onions 1 cup curd small lemon sized tamarind 1 dry red chilli 1/2 tsp chana dal 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp mustard seeds curry leaves 3/4-1 tsp red chilli powder 1/4 tsp sugar(purely optional) salt oil Preparation :- 1) I have choosen small bitter gourd so i just left them with out chopping.If your bitter gourd is of bigger size cut into round slices.Peeling off the bitter gourd layer is optional but it gives better taste when you peel off. 2)Heat a pan ,Add bitter gourd,curd,salt,tamarind and 3 cups of water.Make sure the bitter gourd sink in the water. 3)Now cook it for about 15-20 minutes ,By then all the water gets evaporated. 4)Take another pan ,Add some oil and fry the cooked bitter gourd pieces until they turn brown in color,keep it aside. 5)Heat a pan,Now add some oil,Add red chilli,tempering(chana dal,mustard seeds,cumin seeds) and fry until mustard seeds splutter. 6)Add curry

Chocolate Nuts Laddu Ingredients:- Nestle Semi sweet chocolate chips - 1 cup Coconut oil - 1 tbsp Honey - 1 and 1/2 tbsp Nuts of your choice(I took Cashews, Pecans and Almonds) - About 3/4 cup Preparation :- 1) Take a pan and roast all the nuts in butter. Crush them once they are roasted and cooled. 2) Take a pan and a glass bowl that can fit on the pan with no gaps. Take some water in the pan and start to boil. 3) In the glass bowl add all the ingredients and put on top of the pan while the water starts to boil in the pan. 4) Stir continuously until all the chocolate chips melted away and starts to get thickened. Remove from heat as soon as it does not show oil and starts making ball texture. 5) Add all the crushed nuts to chocolate mixture. Start making balls when it is warm. Voila! Tasty chocolate nut balls are ready to eat! Especially kids going to love them.
